I didn't know any of these were still alive, much less garage kept. For sale just down the street from me.

Every single one of these I have seen in the flesh has been white for some reason, and not for many many years.

This would make a pretty good LeMons car, actually. LeMans in LeMons. Don't modify it more than required, keep it absolutely bone stock looking as much as possible. Sell off a bit to break the $500, but race it in all its perfectly asthmatic banal GM four banger auto glory. Drive it wearing a Members Only jacket and ripped jeans - no other costumery. what would you sell out of it to make up $500? Lets say $300 because we will assume we bargained the guy down.

I'm guessing something creative like all the unnecessary electrics. You could probably clear $200 selling all the window motors - leaving it visually flawless.

If I buy it, I'll give it to my mother. She loved hers.

This one seems to be in oddly good shape, considering. I've seen it around town. No paint peeling or visible rust.
